We are taking a school bus to the World Maker Faire New York on Saturday 29 September 2012. This bus trip and pricing is for students and their chaperones, particularly low-income students. $20 gets you a round trip ticket and admission to the Maker Faire. Today the Westport Library announced a design contest for the MakerBot 3D printer in the Library’s Maker Space. The intent is to stimulate people’s interest in designing and making things. Categories exist for Ages 5-11, Ages 12-17 and Ages 18 and over. Click here to go to the Westport Library Web site or here to open up the PDF application form.
